Strathfield College follows the regulations for attendance as prescribed by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship. Students in Australia on a Student Visa must therefore maintain a minimum attendance of 80%.

Please be aware that unsatisfactory attendance can lead to problems for your visa. Attendance at Strathfield College is recorded daily and students are monitored closely to ensure they meet the regulations as outlined in their visa.

Students failing to meet these requirements will be contacted in writing. A meeting may be requested by staff or student in order to discuss attendance issues. Staff may suggest steps to assist the student in resolving attendance problems.

If you are having problems meeting the attendance requirements, please contact the Director of Studies as soon as possible.
