Course Information
- General English courses run at four levels: elementary, pre-intermediate, intermediate and upper intermediate.
- Each level runs for 12 weeks and every 5 weeks there is a progress test. If your progress test results indicate you are ready, you may progress to the next level.
- The courses focus on communication through speaking, listening, reading and writing and are designed to be student-centred.
Course Aims
Our General English courses aim to accomplish two things:
- To give you the skills you will need for day-to-day living. This includes the language you need for social situations, shopping, travel and part-time work
- To act as a pathway to our other courses
Assessment
At the end of your course you will be awarded a certificate that will give you marks for speaking, listening, reading, writing and attitude.
The certificate will also state the level of your course.
