From November 2004, Australia started issuing Working Holiday Visas to Taiwanese people aged between 18 to 30 years. Strathfield College is taking part in this program to assist Working Holiday visa holders from Taiwan to study English and short vocational courses, experience the Australian workplace and enjoy local culture.
Strathfield College has a package to suit the Working Holiday makers that includes:
- 6 weeks of English study (including General English, English for Academic Purpose & IELTS Preparation)
- 10 weeks of short vocational course: Team Management or 6 weeks of short vocational course: Tourism Management
- Assistance with completing a resume and a job-search
- A letter of introduction to a company
- A Statement of Attainment
- A record of the work experience
- Assistance in organising home-stay
