Strathfield College is a HSK Chinese Language Testing Centre and is endorsed by the Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Sydney.
The HSK test itself is not a pass or fail test. Instead students receive a grade from 1-11 upon completion of the test.
The College offers a variety of preparation courses for the different levels of the test: Children's Chinese, Basic Chinese, Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced Chinese. (There is also a test for Business Chinese however Strathfield College does not offer a preparation course for this level).
Teaching staff for these courses are professional and highly qualified with different backgrounds in Chinese language education and training. Most are native speakers and some are experts on teaching Chinese as a foreign language and have been sent by Hanban, the office of Chinese Language Council International, to deliver these courses. Hanban is the top authority in Chinese language promotion and study, to deliver these courses.
